Cathy Brown

Cathy teaches fourth grade at Truth Academy. She moved to Missouri from southern California when she was 19 and attended Southwest Baptist University. She received her degree in elementary education in 1998.

Cathy taught 2nd grade and then kindergarten for 9 years in the Mt. Vernon school district before she and her husband decided to homeschool their 3 children.

She and her family like to camp, hike, and travel when they have the opportunity. She spends most of her free time at home working in and enjoying her gardens.

Cathy is thankful for the unique educational opportunity Truth Academy offers her to share her love of teaching and the homeschool lifestyle with other families.
